benylin children’s 6+ chesty coughs is a medicine that will treat a chesty or a mucus cough. it works thanks to the active ingredient guaifenesin. guaifenesin is what is known as an expectorant, this is a drug that will reduce the amount of mucus or phlegm that is blocking the airways, making it easier to breathe and also cough up the remaining mucus or phlegm.

   a chesty cough is a type of a cough that is caused when the mucus becomes blocked in the chest and throat. this results in a cough that is intended to clear the mucus. however, because it is stuck where it is, it cannot be coughed up.
